Genuine Toyota Accessories
"Accessories" are factory-installed unlike "Optional Equipment" which is already installed at the factory. Accessory components are mainly stereo systems, wheels, racks etc.
This article is reduced to short explanations and official brochures because of the high variety of possible combinations in the different markets.
Japan
The most comprehensive accessory product range was available at Japanese Toyota dealers. One of the most interesting features were 16" Magnesium alloy wheels which were available until the facelifted Supra appeared in 1996.
Sideskirts in combination with rearspats were available as well as interior and exterior decor.
A roof spoiler and remote central locking were other accessory options.

USA
Specialities of the US Accessory Options included a leather front cover as a stone chip protection, a mobile phone and remote central locking.
A "block heater" was available for electric heating of the motorblock after cold nordic winter nights.

Germany
Germany was the only European country to have a comprehensive accessory product range.
A highlight are Italian 18" OZ "Mito II" wheels with "Supra" center caps.
German Supras did came with the targa roof as standard equipment. Roof racks can't be mounted therefore a rear rack system was available through Toyota Genuine Accessories.
The Japanese RZ version's Bilstein suspension could be also ordered through the accessory product range.
In-House Tuning
Tuning parts were available through Toyota's in-house tuner TRD in Japan and the US. In Europe Toyota Team Europe from Cologne had several parts available.
TRD
TRD's product range is specialized on raceuse parts like mufflers, adjustable suspensions, air filters, adjustable LSD etc.
TRD is especially known for their Supra aerodynamical parts which are a replice of the Supras used in the former Japanese Touring Car Series JGTC.
The "TRD3000GT"-called widebodykit can be ordered with adjustable rear wings and 18" Magnesium alloy wheels.
As all Japanese cars are limited to 180kph (112mph) by law speedometers are also scaled only up to 180kph. The only possibility for Japanese carmakers to offer full scale speedemoters is through their in-house tuners like Toyota did.
TTE
Toyota's European motorsports developer TTE offered a sports muffler with dual rear tips which raised the Supra's power output from 243 to 255kW according to official homologation papers.
"Grand Stand" Aluminium alloy wheels were avaliable in an 18" version for the Supra.
